Hanging Rock, Jim Jim Chardonnay 2012

Nose of Hay bales and nutty nougat. Wet dough, ripe peach and a hint of struck match. Lighter in body than the nose suggests, yet no wimp. A rich palate with peachy stonefruit/buttered popcorn, lemon pith and puckering, tingly mineral acidity that drives a long tight finish. A touch old school but with pedigree.
