Robert Stein [Mudgee NSW], Shiraz 2014

Some bottle age is starting to soften this fulsome Mudgee shiraz.
There are overtones of smoky chocolate in the ripe red fruit / mulberry spectrum.
This is solidly underpinned by a chest-thumping delivery of leathery / peppery aromas, grippy tannins & 14% Alc warmth.
This typical Mudgee shiraz will benefit from a few years of cellaring.
Another generous, good value offering from Jacob Stein and his team.
