Angullong, Shiraz 2015

There's a smokey-char about the wine, redolent of winter air in cooler climes with the lingering whiff of smoke. It sits above a plum and Berry core. Quite the invitation.

Mid-weight, clove and a little star anise here, fine-but firm-grain tannin that gently coats the mouth. Reasonable length, soft and delicate - at contrast to a little aniseed twist.
