Robert Stein [Mudgee NSW], The Kinnear Shiraz 2014

The striking label depicts the Kinnear, the ship that brought Johann Stein and family to Australia in 1838, amidst hardships and austerity.
This first-release homage flagship Shiraz by grandson Jacob is finely crafted from the best grapes and meticulous winemaking techniques.
This is a wine of finesse, complexity and class.
The velvety palate of cherry chocolate & redberries is threaded by fine tannins and subtle but punchy [14%] Alc.
It is genuinely an "Iron fist in velvet glove" Shiraz of quality and longevity.
A delight and pleasure which deserves all the inevitable accolades at the highest levels of its genre.
