Andevine, Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2018

The resurrection of Aussie Chardonnay, away from the largesse of the buttery and oaky numbers, to the subtlety and crafted guile of examples, the establishment of cooler areas for same - where it belongs.

Cool and creamy, subtle toast and spice from (20% new) quality French oak.

The perfect prelude to a focussed palate, well pitched, subtle citrus and stonefruit. A little more acid wouldn't go amiss for my liking.
