Angullong (Orange, NSW), Angullong Shiraz 2017

Crimson / purple hues attract the eye on pouring.
The nose, initially subdued, soon unfolds layers of ripe redberries / blueberries with a backbone of black pepper and mixed spice.
These cool-climate varietal attributes are tightly wound around a core of grippy acid and tannins
The 14% Alc warmth facilitates the ripe & fulsome palate journey
It is well-assembled, textural sleeper of a Shiraz team which will continue to develop and please over the next few years
This 2017 Angullong Shiraz is a well-priced winter warmer winner from Ben Crossing and the Angullong team
Price: $22
