Kosciuszko Wines [Tumbarumba NSW], Pinot Noir 2019

This 2019 Kosciuszko Pinot Noir, sourced from the high-elevation Excelsior Peak vineyard in the Tumbarumba precinct, is a light-bodied and fragrant example of cool-climate Pinot Noir.
The varietal characteristics have been encouraged to express themselves via minimal-intervention winemaking by Robert Bruno.

The colour is of see-through cherry.
The nose and palate release aromas of ripe raspberry and flavours of sweet and sour cherry-ripe tones.
Evident but unobtrusive vanillin oak grip contributes to palate texture and length.

This is a pleasant and cheerful Pinot Noir which can be enjoyed slightly chilled and which would suit the imminent warm weather food and wine occasions.
