The Grape Hunter

Wine Travel

St Emillion

To travel away from the comforts and familiarities of home and expose ourselves to the unexpected and unusual of a foreign culture is an experience everyone should have in their lifetime. To experience this, one needs to get off the tourist route and discover corners of the world where the inhabitants of the village, town, island are simply going about their lives. Sit back, watch, open your eyes and heart to their culture and you will always be amazed and enriched. Attempt the local language, taste the local food and wine, visit the local market and expose yourself to the wonders of the world we live in.

As Henry Miller said, “One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”

Here at the Grape Hunter, we are always hunting for the perfect wine and food experience and our travel page will be taking you on a journey to Australian and a journey across the globe.
